- Position Title: SHE Manager (Chemical)
- Working Location: West – Tuas
- Working Hours: 5 days (Monday to Friday: 8 am-5.30 pm)
- Salary Package: Up to SGD 6000 + AWS + Variable Bonus + Yearly Increment
- Duration: Permanent
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Managing Director and collaborate with QSHE teams to ensure the understanding and implementation of corporate SHE strategy, guidelines, and processes.
- Develop and communicate the Company SHE strategy, design effective long and short-term implementation plans, and oversee projects from conception to completion.
- Report SHE non-conformities and incidents, and manage them collaboratively with the Corporate QSHE Team.
- Lead SHE programs, audits for certifications, coordinate site audits/assessments, manage SHE competencies, and deliver training sessions.
- Conduct SHE audits for third-party service providers and support the Commercial Team with SHE advisory for dangerous goods.
- Oversee annual SHE performance goals, lead and manage the SHE team, and ensure contractor safety leading to zero harm.
- Engage with customers and internal staff on SHE matters, provide advice on controls and protective equipment, and regularly review SHE systems for continuous improvement.
- Liaise with external entities to maintain licenses, permits, and certificates and ensure compliance with statutory obligations.
- Hold and fulfill responsibilities related to SHE legal roles like Fire Safety Manager and Workplace Safety and Health officer.
- Coordinate emergency preparedness exercises and support the implementation of Site Safe Management Measures (SMM).
- Conduct SHE committee meetings, ensure adherence to the bizSAFE level 5 standards, and manage site risk assessments.
- Perform incident investigations with root cause analysis, understand the Singapore Safety Case regime, and implement standards and best practices.
- Ensure sites comply with SHE legal requirements, maintain the SHE Legal Register, and be proactive and responsive in compliance and emergency situations.

- Min. Diploma in Workplace Safety and Health Management or Engineering related
- Min. 5 years of SHE working experience with managerial experience
- Preferably have experience in the Oil & Gas / Chemical industry
- Familiar with behavioural-based safety, fire safety, hazardous materials and DG management
- Having experience in distribution/logistics is an advantage
