Key Responsibilities:
- Quantity and Cost Management: Thoroughly review construction plans to prepare accurate quantity requirements and cost estimations.
- Stakeholder Liaison: Work closely with project managers, clients, consultants, and subcontractors to communicate updates, address inquiries, and ensure alignment on budgetary needs.
- Documentation & Reporting: Generate reports, financial analyses, contracts, and budgets. Keep accurate records of design adjustments and update budgets accordingly.
- Tender Review: Assess tender documents, drawings, and specifications to understand the project scope in detail, ensuring accurate estimates and compliance with Sunpeak standards.
- Bills of Quantities (BQ): Measure quantities and compile Bills of Quantities, coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors for quotations during tender submissions.
- Variation Orders: Identify and prepare variation orders for project changes, documenting and communicating these to relevant stakeholders.
- Site Meetings: Attend site meetings to provide financial updates, address cost concerns, and ensure contract terms are met.
- Progress and Final Accounts: Review and certify progress claims, and finalize accounts for completed projects to ensure all financial aspects are reconciled.
Requirements:
Educational Background: Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
Skillset:
- Highly meticulous, cost-conscious, and capable of independent work.
- Proficient in construction contracts and tender processes.
- Skilled in software for quantity take-offs.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English with an ability to present complex information clearly.
