Job Description:
Provide Siemens PCS support to manufacturing activities:
- Respond promptly to shift operations requests as PCS Advanced User
- Work with Shift Supervisor and Shift Lead to perform manual intervention tasks related to the PCS system to ensure continuous operation of critical processes.
Manual Intervention Tasks:
- Execute PCS manual interventions as needed, following established procedures.
- Collaborate with shift production personnels to address process intervention requests.
- Document all manual interventions activities accurately.
- Assist in reviewing the monthly Advanced User access report generated.
Shift Support:
- Coordinate with other shift Automation resources to ensure smooth handovers.
- Contact and assist duty Automation Engineer on resolving complex technical tasks.
Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines.
- Report any safety incidents promptly.
- Comply with company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Hand-on experience and basic understanding of manufacturing process control systems usage.
- Ability to follow procedures.
- Good communication skills and a team player.
Additional Information:
- Training will be provided on Siemens PCS 7 and other relevant systems.
- May be required to work the night shift on a temporary basis if necessary
Job Requirements:
• May be required to perform as a subject matter expert for equipment and/or systems
• Possess good communication skills
• Possess good troubleshooting skills
• Full awareness of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment such as safety glasses/goggles, gloves and safety shoes
• Ability to work in confined spaces if required
• Ability to work around chemicals (alcohols, acids & bases)
