Reporting to: Executive Director
Responsibilities:
- The Sales manager will be responsible for the performance and delivery of the Asia Pacific events and research portfolio. The global sales team are focused on selling conference and roundtable sponsorships, sponsorship of proprietary research projects and podcasts.
- The role will require a dynamic and proven sales manager, preferably with at least 6 years management experience who is looking for a role in a growth environment. The ideal candidate will have sold successfully to financial institutions internationally not just locally, have a good knowledge of the financial and professional services marketplaces and be currently employed.
- The successful candidate will be a proven achiever and natural communicator with excellent presentational skills, confident telephone manner and an articulate proposal writer. They will be an excellent networker who can demonstrate the ability to build and retain a broad rolodex of clients, frequently conduct in person meetings and be able to report and forecast concisely. They will be well versed in the importance of achieving and exceeding monthly and quarterly sales performance targets.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering the Asia Pacific sales portfolio (both acquisition and renewal) and have the opportunity to source and sell Asian clients into the global product portfolio. They should have a successful track record of selling across a portfolio of products and geographies.

- The primary drivers for success as a Sales Manager will be the following;
- Achieving revenue targets on both a personal and team basis
- Maximizing yield across the product portfolio
- Networking effectively within our community, both with the sell side (Professional service firms) and the buy side (families and family office executives)
- Achieving a set number of KPI's per week for engagements, meetings, and proposals
- Actively seek referrals and prospect efficiently
- Responsible for accurate reporting and forecasting on a weekly basis
