JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Licensed Aircraft Engineer to join our team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing and certifying aircraft maintenance tasks, attending to routine transit/daily/weekly/monthly checks, troubleshooting, and repairing aircraft and engines, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies and procedures. The role is a mixture of base and line maintenance, with the percentage allocated depending on workload.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Perform and certify aircraft maintenance tasks including inspection, repair, modification, and functional tests.
• Attend to routine transit/daily/weekly/monthly checks and other line maintenance duties.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair aircraft and engines and all associated aircraft systems.
• Inspect finished work, carry out operation/functional tests, and rectify aircraft defects.
• Sign-off all tasks performed and comply with Airworthy Release.
• Manage and maintain tool & equipment store and provide recommendations, if applicable.
• Base Maintenance: 70%, Line Maintenance: 30%, depending on workload.
• Ensure that all maintenance activities comply with regulatory requirements and company policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities performed.
• Collaborate with other maintenance and engineering personnel to troubleshoot and resolve complex aircraft issues.
REQUIREMENTS:
• A valid CAAS license or an Aircraft Maintenance License, that is transferable to a Singaporean CAAS license (EASA, CASA, DCAM, etc.).
• Possess at least 2 type ratings, with a minimum of one of the following type ratings: A320, A350, A380, B747, B777, and/or B787.
• At least five years of experience as an LAE.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (proficient in English reading and writing).
• Good customer relationship skills.
