The Services required are set out as follows:
1. The Personnel (Uplift Programme Support) shall report to the school’s Head of Department of Student Development and Subject Head of Student Well-Being.
2. The job scope includes the following:
• Support After-School Engagement (ASE) programmes for identified high needs students. This includes, but is not limited to:
a. Academic Support Programme
b. Mentoring Programmes
c. Interest-based Experiential Elective Programmes
• Engage the students during their recess, lunch and after-school hours daily through mentoring and free play to build rapport.
• Work with form teachers and subject teachers closely to understand the students’ profile and needs.
• Monitor students’ attendance in the ASE programmes and document observations as feedback for teachers.
• Provide academic support as part of re-integration for students returning to school after long term absences.
• Plan for and carry out activities during the school holidays (March, June, September and November/December) to engage the high needs students.
• Other duties
a. Any other duties as assigned by School Leaders, HOD Student Development, SH Student Well-Being or Administration Manager.
b. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the classrooms and facilities used for ASE programmes.
