Responsibilities
We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to support the accounting department.
- Lead and handle entire accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger functions;
- Generate and validate invoices for AP processes;
- Handle claims and payment preparation;
- Ensure accuracy of invoices, monitoring process;
- Responsible for receipts and documents;
- Process monthly reports and statements;
- Collaborate closely with internal departments for AR related processes;
- Manage prepayments and handle journal;
- Ensure accuracy of ledgers and accounts;
- Lead bank reconciliations;
- Support other finance related tasks.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Finance, Accounting or any other relevant field of study;
- Experience handling AP, AR and GL functions;
- Excellent understanding of international accounting standards;
- Proactive with good problem solving skills;
- Ability to work well in a dynamic team, as well as ability work effectively independently;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
