Job Description
Driving and Transportation
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport construction materials, tools, and equipment between warehouse facilities and construction sites.
- Loading, unloading, transporting, and delivering items to clients or businesses in a safe, timely manner.
- Adhere to traffic laws, regulations, and safety protocols while driving, ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, maintain vehicle cleanliness, and report any maintenance issues or accidents promptly.
Warehouse Management
- Perform warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, and dispatching of construction materials, tools, and equipment.
- Manage and maintain accurate inventory records of construction materials, tools, equipment, and supplies.
- Conduct regular inventory counts, reconcile discrepancies, and update inventory systems to ensure accuracy and availability of stock.
Logistics Coordination
- Schedule deliveries, pickups, and shipments of materials to construction sites.
- Track and monitor transportation activities, ensure timely deliveries, and resolve any logistics issues or delays.
- Optimize transportation routes, reduce shipping costs, and improve delivery performance through effective logistics planning and management.
Reporting and Documentation
- Generate and analyze reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and warehouse performance metrics to monitor performance, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
- Maintain accurate records of warehouse activities, transactions, receipts, and shipments in compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Collaborate with procurement, finance, and project teams to provide updates, insights, and support on warehouse operations, inventory status, and material requirements.
Requirements
- Valid Class 3 Driving License.
- Min. 1 year of relevant working experience.
- Able to carry heavy goods.
