Our client, a regional bank, is seeking a skilled and motivated Credit Analyst to join our team, specializing in project finance deals. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical abilities and a solid understanding of cash flow projection and financial modeling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze financial statements and cash flow projections to assess the creditworthiness of project finance proposals.
- Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate potential investments and financing structures.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and prepare detailed credit reports for management review.
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to gather relevant financial information and insights.
- Monitor and review the performance of existing projects to identify any potential credit risks.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior management and other relevant parties.
- Stay updated on market trends and regulatory changes that may impact project finance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in credit analysis or financial modeling, preferably within project finance.
- Strong knowledge of cash flow projections and financial modeling techniques.
- Proficient in financial software and tools (e.g., Excel, financial modeling software).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
