Job Purpose
The Responsible Sourcing Manager contributes to achieve the sustainability program of the company and lead the sustainability team. The purpose of the Sustainability Team is to deliver effective, timely and quality sustainability support across relevant ADM sustainability related projects and business areas. Generally the work field of the Responsible Sourcing Manager is dynamic and not limited to below mentioned tasks. On demand the Responsible Sourcing Manager supports or co-ordinates specific projects to support the business.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the sustainability team in the business.
- Ensure sustainability compliance accordant to ADM´s policies.
- Coordinate activities with other regional sustainability teams.
- Engage with relevant stakeholders, customers and suppliers to develop projects, communicate the relevant messages and policies.
- Inform the commercial colleagues about relevant changes in sustainability policies and legislation as well as training of relevant colleagues and communication of sustainability updates
- Continuous observation of initiatives, voluntary schemes and relevant developments as well as new sustainable business opportunities.
- Participate in relevant sustainability conferences, workshops and training seminars
- Design, maintenance and control of Sustainability Standard Operating Procedures
- Contribution to/Co-ordination of sustainability projects on demand
- Support the implementation of certifications schemes with other ADM´s entities.
Your Profile
- Academic Degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Engineering or Environment.
- Understanding of Supply Chain Management, Life Cycle Assessment
- Possess a consulting mentality
- Knowledge about certification schemes, traceability, risk assessment, deforestation and human rights
- Good analytical and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Strong personality, flexible, stress resistance, and result & service-oriented
- Ability to function independently whilst retaining the ability to focus on the group targets and demands
