HR Lead, oneCIB OD Implementation

JOB SUMMARY

  • The role will manage the implementation of OD changes within the business, requiring a careful end to end project management from Org Design, execution and reviewing impacts.
  • The individual will work in partnership with Senior Business heads/ stakeholders/HRBPs and relevant CoEs in HR in executing the OD activation plan, selection/appointments, managing communications and ensuring no lose ends on the downstream impacts.
  • This role will have direct interactions with the Business, a first-hand experience in learning the CIB business and seeing impacts being made in CIB through the right OD implementation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategy

  • Partner with relevant business leaders to formulate and deliver the OD Implementation Plan, enable a high-performance culture focused on enhancing capability and improving productivity across CIB.
  • Deliver appropriate and relevant HR advice, ensuring that this is aligned to the overarching business strategy, governance processes and risk appetite.
  • Identify, prioritise and build organisational capabilities and behaviours to drive the CIB strategy.

Business

  • Proactively form credible relationships to effectively partner with business leaders and challenge / influence relevant decision-making as appropriate.
  • Act as a change agent and key enabler to help drive CIB change initiatives with stakeholders and wider teams.
  • Support projects and deliverables that relate to the CIB people agenda.

Processes

  • Provide support for the implementation and execution of HR processes, policies and procedures ensuring compliance with local regulations

People & Talent

  • Support on the talent management agenda for the CIB businesses. This will include the following (not exhaustive)
  • Succession Planning
  • Leadership Effectiveness development
  • Talent Management Programmes and Initiatives
  • Diversity & Inclusion agenda, including the development of female talent

Risk Management

  • Understand and help manage the people-related risk profile including operational and reputational risk, to Group Standards
  • Provide oversight of complex employee relations issues involving senior people, significant litigation, and high profile or broad business issues
  • Support the effective implementation of the Risk Management framework within the role remit.

Governance

  • Provide support to deliver the Conduct Plan across the region and relevant businesses.
  • Provide support on investigation and mitigation plans where there are audit findings or operational risks issues in the region and relevant business

  • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
  • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
