Job Summary
- Location: Ang Mo Kio
- Salary: Up to $7200
- Senior Developer Salary : $7K to $9K
Responsibilities
- End-to-End Development: Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software applications that support critical government services.
- Quality Improvement: Enhance software quality by practicing Scrum methodologies such as code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Product Owners (PO) and Business Analysts (BA) to refine user stories and ensure that requirements are clear and achievable.
- Support QA and DevOps: Assist QA teams with test automation, bug fixes, and support DevOps with build and release automation.
- Documentation: Prepare interface specifications, architecture documents, and adhere to best practices outlined in the Software Craftsmanship Manifesto.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Computing or Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, or related disciplines
- Min 1 year of experience as software engineer/developer
- For senior developers, min 7 years of experience is required
- Experience in multi-paradigm programming languages (e.g., Java Spring Framework, Angular, Apache Spark, Data Engineering, ETL).
- Knowledge of AWS cloud services (RDS, Glue, Lambda, MSK) is highly advantageous
- Experience in unit testing is advantageous
- Comfortable working in Agile and UX-focused environment
