This is a Technical Business Analyst opportunity for a public sector services company. The role will mainly support the web and mobile version of a widely-used application.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Modifying, enhancing or adapting existing or proposed systems within an organisation with the purpose of improving business efficiency and productivity.
- Plans activities involving the examination and documentation of technical requirements for new solutions to be created and user needs analysis.
- Analyses the feasibility of new systems and enhancements to existing systems, translates technical requirements into system specifications and writes test cases.
- Develops documentation and guides for the use of new or enhanced systems.
- Manages analysis projects and is open-minded and innovative in exploring new and alternative solutions to optimise systems.
- Able to engage and support others in the team, and readily put forth his ideas in a clear and compelling manner.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent
- At least 5 years relevant IT Business Analyst work experience
- Experience in assessment of requirements feasibility, functional and technical design, and involved in project life cycle
- Strong analytical skills, self-motivated and ability to work independently
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with teams
- Proficient in MS Office and basic understanding of Windows Servers and MS SQL
