We are seeking an experienced Senior Customer Success Principal to play a key role in developing and executing strategic sales initiatives to drive revenue growth and expand GFTN Forums' footprint. You are required to identify new business opportunities, manage client relationships, and oversee partnerships that align with GFTN Forums’ mission. This role requires a dynamic, results-driven leader with a passion for innovation and the financial services sector, along with proven experience in sales leadership within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Successfully achieving specified personal revenue and team targets through pitching of commercial sponsorship across GFTN Forums’ suite of products.
- Managing an existing selection of key global accounts.
- Building of commercial value propositions across GFTN Forums’ suite of products and pitching them to senior leaders in the industry.
- Drive revenue through innovative sales models and approaches, ensuring consistent growth across events, sponsorships, partnerships, and other revenue streams.
- Account-manage new businesses through their first GFTN Forums cycle to ensure a positive experience and provide resolution advice where necessary, working with other business functions (e.g. Marketing, Operations)
- Maintain the sales pipeline process and data quality through the use of Hubspot (CRM system)
- Effectively and professionally manage outgoing calls and meetings, both by phone and face-to-face, that uncover customer needs.
- Collaborate and work closely with the GFTN Forums’ Global content and strategy team in order to build strong product propositions
- Collaborate and work closely with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns which could drive commercial opportunities.
- Keep up to date with the industry through attending industry events, research and industry conversations.
- Be an active member of GFTN Forums sharing customer learnings across our subsidiaries.
- Develop internal relationships to exceed customer expectations and provide support to the team.
Our Ideal Candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in marketing, business, or related field
- Minimum 10 years’ experience working in Sales, Business Development or Commercial roles.
- Is a self-starter, forward-thinking, and resourceful
- Great attention to detail, able to connect the commercial propositions of a business in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Experience in CRM systems such as Hubspot would be an advantage
- Good command of written and spoken English in a business context.
- Experience in FinTech, interest in financial sector regulations and sectoral innovations would be an advantage
