Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the full set of accounts for the company, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable, as the sole accounting professional in the company.
- Responsible for all aspects of the accounting and financial functions of the company.
- Process payroll, employee expense claims, statutory contributions (CPF, IRAS submissions, etc.) and government reimbursements (childcare leave, paternity leave, NSmen makeup pay, etc.)
- Ensure timely submission of GST returns and other regulatory filings, taking full responsibility for compliance.
- Monitor and manage foreign currency exposure.
- Prepare and manage monthly financial statements, management reports, and cash flow forecasts independently.
- Prepare IR8A forms for employees to ensure accurate tax reporting and compliance.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow to ensure financial stability.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and other stakeholders during audits and year-end closing.
- Analyse the financial performance of the company and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Review financial procedures, internal controls, and business processes/systems to ensure effective controls are in place.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support overall financial planning and decision-making.
- Handle any ad hoc accounting and finance tasks as required by management.
Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in audit / Accounting
- Must be able to commit part time for long term
Mon to Friday (4 hours a day - can be morning or afternoon)
