The Opportunity :
The Regional NAC (No Additional Charge) Accounts Manager, APAC will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key accounts and broker partners within the APAC region. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage daily interactions, drive business development, and ensure the seamless execution of strategies and solutions tailored to the needs of key accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build relationships with existing and target key accounts / clients and broker partners.
- Actively manage the day-to-day relationship with the key accounts (with support from Globa Account Manager), getting involved directly with daily issues and interacting directly with the Key Accounts to assure AIG provides a timely response and resolution.
- Manage and drive the business development pipeline for the Regional key accounts, including KPIs and regular status updates.
- Identify the business needs for the key accounts and define strategy covering both business-as-usual and growth prospects with roadmap to execution
- Diagnose on an ongoing basis the health of relationships, establishing and driving execution for set of corrective and preventive action plans.
- Establish internal SLAs and procedures with key internal stakeholders (e.g. Actuaries) to be able to fulfill the external SLAs.
- Respond to queries from the clients (pricing, T&Cs reviews, Marketing Material reviews, etc.) according to agreed SLAs.
- Prepare policy and T&C documents and manage translation into local language
- Prepare policies for filing (if required) in the countries included in the program, including coordination with Legal, Compliance, and other relevant departments
- Manage the invoicing process including payments and reconciliation of invoices of issuing offices
- Work with Multinational team in creating OMEGA requests to process policies
- Work with Network Partners Practice team in coordinating placement with local insurers for the program
- Establish proper communication mechanisms with Key Accounts, such as workshops, to keep the best relationship quality, assuring information flows bi-directionally and frequently. Develop business proposals and presentations as required (e.g. Quarterly Business Reviews with the client)
Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Insurance, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in account management within the insurance industry, preferably with exposure to the APAC region.
- Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation abilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in managing and driving business development pipelines.
- Familiarity with policy processing systems is a plus
- Underwriting experience on Personal Insurance products such as Travel Insurance, Extended warranty and lifestyle products is desirable.
- Experience managing external partners and working in a large global organization is a must.
- Experience in NAC / Fee-based products distributed through sponsors.
- Extensive experience working with IT, Operations and Business stakeholders
