RESPONSIBILITIES
The jobholder will work closely with the Team to support the administration and operations of a graduate programme in the School of Accountancy.
Academic Matters
- To be responsible for the administrative management of the Programme, including maintaining course outlines, materials, and the student portal for seamless access to academic resources.
- To manage course scheduling, enrollment registration, and course evaluations.
- To provide classroom support whenever necessary; this may include weekday evenings and Saturdays.
Students and Alumni
- To support activities for students and alumni such as industry talks, team building, networking, community service, and social activities.
- To work with other departments in SMU to support student activities to promote internship and employment opportunities.
- To provide support in the handling of student disciplinary matters.
Programme Directors' Support
- To support Programme Directors in meetings including setting up meeting venue and preparing meeting materials.
- To support travel arrangements for Programme Directors.
Admission
- To support the marketing team on student recruitment.
- To work closely with Programme Manager in maintaining clear communication with incoming students regarding important deadlines, documentation requirements, and programme expectations to facilitate their onboarding experience.
- To manage student onboarding which includes student pass application, pre-matriculation engagement, matriculation, orientation and other activities.
Others
- To support the School in key events and activities
- Polytechnic Diploma or University Degree.
- At least 1 year of substantial administrative experience in educational or public service setting.
- Self-motivated with strong inter-personal and problem-solving skills.
- Hardworking and possess excellent organising, multi-tasking, and administrative capabilities.
- Meticulous and able to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with a broad range of stakeholders.
