Roles & Responsibilities
Job Purpose
- A Storeman is responsible for efficient inventory management, controlling cost, and maintaining a safe and organized workspace. Storeman has to work with the procurement team closely
- Under direction, responsible for all product sales’ operation activities including shipping and receiving, coordinating stock, documenting store transactions, maintaining records, and overseeing storage of products inventory.
Main tasks / activities / responsibilities
- Receive and inspect all incoming materials and reconciles with purchase orders; prepare to distribute customer / buyer, track damages and/or discrepancies on product sales received for collection / delivery / shipment.
- Coordinate materials loading and unloading.
- Any damages or shortage of product sales to immediately inform procurement team.
- Receive, store and track incoming & outgoing items.
- Take inventory count and record the number of items in store.
- Operate forklift when storing materials.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
- Lamination of facing to insulation products
- Job requirements
- Minimum 1year prior experience in storekeeping role and familiar in logistics and/or supply chain industries.
- Knowledge in the procedure for delivering to jurong and local shipyard
