This role will be in the Business Development team to conduct presentations to specify products out to IDs, Designers, End-Users, etc. to close projects, develop new business opportunities and create awareness in the industry.
You will be required to travel and meet customers around Singapore while bringing along samples and product catalogues for the customers' easy viewing.
Responsibilities:
- Prospecting and generating leads – taking responsibility for the sales conversation from start to finish.
- Develop, maintain, and improve business relationships with customers in order to support current and future business.
- Create new channel partnerships – Interior decorators / contractors, installers, Kitchen Designers and/or related potential industry.
- Generate new account activity and revenue opportunities
- Manage sales funnel and sales cycle to ensure strong closure
- Perform opportunity-based activities such as account profiling, prospecting, identifying and documenting sales
- Possess in-depth product knowledge and able to conduct presentations to interior designers, architects and end users.
- Achieve sales targets by assessing current client needs; Meet key performance metrics established
- Reach out to potential clients on a cyclical basis to promote our latest collections and services
- Coordination and supervision work, communicate with other departments cordially to ensure standards and service levels are met
- Perform market research, regular competitor monitoring and create brand awareness in industry.
Education/Experience:
- Diploma and above in sales and marketing or related field with 2 to 5 years’ experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Building material or interior designing industry would be advantageous.
- Strong knowledge in business development, sales, marketing and business analysis required.
- Demonstrated experience in successfully achieving sales targets.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with good written and spoken English.
- Comfortable conducting presentations to all levels within an organisation.
- Own transport is preferred to travel and meet customers (Allowance provided).
