- Be the key account manager for primarily government agencies and software or software system projects.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with the assigned accounts from working level personnel to the decision-makers.
- Grow business revenue with existing accounts and actively develop new accounts.
- Scout for public tender opportunities, coordinate and submit for selected public tenders.
- Coordinate with relevant teams within the company – project management, R&D, and operations – to ensure timely and satisfactory deliverables to customers.
- Stay abreast of government’s technology trends and propose strategies to the company to keep up to or move ahead of these trends.
- Responsible for sales budgeting and forecast of customer accounts.
- Source for and build up network of external partners to complement the company’s internal capabilities in order to fulfil the required spectrum of technical expertise for projects.
- Potential partners include, but not limited to, IT services, UI/UX, digital marketing, data analytics, security consultants.
- Be the leading liaison with the partners to pursue and win projects.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree holder
- At least 5 years of work experience in business development or account management related to software or software system solutions to government accounts
- Good network with players in the ICT service industry
- Background or knowledge in IT, software, cloud services
- Strong communication skills in both written and spoken
- Highly organized and able to manage complex project requirements and deliverables
- High literacy in business contracts and agreements
- IT project management or Agile project management related certification
- Strong interest in fast paced ICT technologies
- Build lasting trust with people not by words but by action
