The upcoming Eastern General Hospital (EGH) seeks to provide excellent healthcare and promote healing that is centred around each person. When it is operational, EGH will provide a comprehensive range of inpatient and outpatient clinical specialties and healthcare services covering emergency, acute and secondary care. You will serve as a financial advisor to stakeholders, providing strategic analysis and support. You will also act as an advocate for changes, addressing queries and concerns to facilitate the successful establishment of EGH, including contribution to new projects, digitization efforts, and service enhancements.

Your responsibilities will include completing the monthly accounts closure, preparing and reviewing of the statutory accounts and schedules to meet statutory, tax and GST requirements. Additionally, you will also prepare and review the Funding Papers, obtain approvals from the relevant stakeholders and ensure timely and accurate reports in accordance with the submission schedule.

You will also be assisting in the synthesis of data and reports pertaining to sustainability efforts submitted by the stakeholders and preparation of the presentation materials.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Business Administration (major in Accountancy or Finance) or equivalent with minimum 8 years of related working experience
  • Membership to professional body e.g., ISCA, ACCA is desired / preferred
  • Team player with high level of integrity, responsibility, and trustworthiness
  • Adept at handling complex, ambiguous, and challenging situations.
  • Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to engage various stakeholders in a fluid environment and a growing organisation.
