Your Job:
- Preparation of monthly and quarterly GST returns.
- Involve in indirect tax returns preparation work for Asia Pacific entities which include Singapore, Malaysia, India, China, Taiwan, Korea and Japan.
- Provide support in indirect tax planning and advisory.
- Provide support in other tax aspects (e.g., property tax, stamp duty).
- Support indirect tax accounting function and tax notes preparation for financial statement disclosure purpose.
- Monitor the introduction of new tax legislation to ensure compliance with the new legislation.
- Assist in special projects, such as e-Invoicing and system implementation
- To use technology like Alteryx/Power BI for data collation/presentation purposes.
- Handle ad hoc tax-related projects as assigned sometimes.
Other Responsibilities:
- Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs
Required Qualifications:
- Degree in Accountancy or Taxation or professional qualifications recognized by ICPAS
- 0-3 years of experience in tax or accounting
- Basic background in Singapore GST compliance, experience in GST returns is an added advantage.
- Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, PowerBI)
