Job Description
- Develop detailed designs for tunnel structures, including alignment, cross-section, and support systems.
- Conduct site investigations and analyze geological and hydrological data to inform design and construction methods.
- Coordinate project schedules, budgets, and resources, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
- Supervise tunneling operations, ensuring compliance with engineering standards and safety regulations.
- Work closely with architects, civil engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle.
- Implement quality assurance protocols to maintain high standards in construction practices and materials used.
- Prepare progress reports and documentation for stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering
- Able to work shift work, 12 hour shift, 6 day work week
- Compressed air fit
- Excel in microsoft office and excel
- Strong knowledge of tunneling methods (e.g., TBM, NATM)
- 6 years or more experience in construction tunnelling
