Institutional Sales Account Manager (Global Investment Firm)
Our client, a global investment firm is seeking an experienced and driven Institutional Sales Account Manager to join them. In this role, you will be responsible for managing relationships with institutional clients, including pension funds, endowments, foundations, and other large asset owners. You will act as the primary point of contact, driving sales of the firm’s investment products and solutions while ensuring excellent client service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and cultivate relationships with institutional clients, ensuring they receive the highest level of service.
- Act as the main point of contact for client inquiries, providing timely and accurate responses to questions about products, performance, and strategy.
- Develop customized investment solutions in collaboration with portfolio managers and product specialists to meet the specific needs of clients.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with institutional investors, including pension funds, insurance companies, endowments, and sovereign wealth funds.
- Generate leads and build a strong pipeline of potential clients through networking, industry events, and proactive outreach.
- Work closely with the product and marketing teams to develop and present tailored investment proposals and pitch materials.
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to drive revenue growth across assigned institutional accounts.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
- An advanced degree (MBA, CFA, or equivalent) is highly preferred.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in institutional sales, business development, or account management in asset management or financial services.
- Proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with institutional clients, such as pension funds, insurance companies, and endowments.
