Who We’re Looking For
As a Vice President for our Corporate Affairs practice,
you will play a pivotal role in driving our corporate businesses under the Golin brand. Your expertise and industry knowledge will be key in forging meaningful partnerships, expanding our client base, and promoting our solutions across the Asia-Pacific region.
You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic PR campaigns for our corporate clients. You will also collaborate with our Creative Intelligence team on data-driven approaches to ensure innovative and powerful ideas for our clients. You will be crucial in building client relationships, driving business development efforts, and providing expert counsel to clients and internal teams.
Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of comprehensive corporate affairs strategies ensuring alignment with their business objectives and brand positioning.
  • Provide strategic counsel to clients regarding their communication and public relations strategies, leveraging industry knowledge and best practices.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis of relevant industries relevant that benefit from corporate PR, including market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory developments, to inform campaign strategies and client recommendations.
  • Build and nurture strong client relationships, serving as the main point of contact and trusted advisor.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including account managers, creative teams, and digital specialists, to develop integrated PR strategies and ensure the successful implementation of client campaigns.
  • Lead new business development efforts for the practice, including identifying and pursuing potential client opportunities, preparing proposals, and participating in client pitches.
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends and innovations in corporate affairs (reputation management, crisis management, media relations, internal communications, stakeholder engagement, corporate social responsibility, and social content strategy) by attending industry conferences and networking events to expand your professional knowledge and connections.
  • Manage and mentor a team of PR professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to foster their growth and development.
  • Monitor campaign performance, track key metrics, and provide regular reports to clients, demonstrating the impact of PR efforts and recommending adjustments as needed.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in public relations, communications, journalism, or a related field.
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in Corporate Communications and Affairs or related fields, with a proven track record of successfully managing PR campaigns for corporate and technology clients
  • Strong industry understanding, including trends, regulations, and key stakeholders.
  • Experience in strategy and engagement and ability to develop communications materials.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients, effectively convey complex information, and influence decision-making.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and executing strategic PR campaigns, including media relations, thought leadership, and content development.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage a team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Strong business acumen and entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to identify new business opportunities and drive revenue growth.
  • Proficiency in leveraging digital platforms and tools for PR and social media management.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
