Responsibilities
- Collaborating with audit team members and members from other departments for complex/specific accounting and auditing matters
- Facilitating cross-border engagements and group audits with group/component audit teams and/or Grant Thornton network teams, specifically focusing on the India corridor
- Managing and delivery of assurance engagements according to Grant Thornton audit methodology for multinational organisations of various sizes
- Identifying and developing new business growth opportunities with existing clients
- Training and coaching audit team members by conducting timely performance review and providing feedback to them
Qualifications and skills
- At least 6 years of experience in statutory audits
- Experience with variety of audit related projects, such as internal audit, compliance, and/or corporate finance experience, is a plus
- Experience leading international/cross-border engagements in current role
- Progressive audit experience in Big 4 or mid-tier accounting firm in India would be an advantage
- Required degree in Accounting or Finance and completed qualification for one of the following: Singapore CA, ACA, ACCA, CA Australia, CPA Australia, ICAEW, US CPA, or equivalent
- Strong technical accounting skills with proficiency in SFRS and SSA or IFRS and ISA. US GAAP and/or SOX 404 knowledge will be advantageous
