Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage MRT architectural construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all project goals are met within the specified timelines and budgets.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, and government authorities, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Oversee all aspects of construction planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and contractual obligations.
- Monitor project progress, prepare regular reports, and provide updates to senior management and stakeholders.
- Identify potential issues or delays and develop mitigation strategies to keep the project on track.
- Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost control measures are effectively implemented.
- Ensure the proper implementation of architectural designs and specifications in MRT construction projects.
- Foster a collaborative and positive working environment among project teams and subcontractors.
- Handle contract negotiations, procurement, and coordination of materials and resources.
Requirements:
- Minimum ten (10) years relevant experience and a Degree in Civil Engineering recognised by the PE Board or qualifications accepted by the Commissioner of Building Control for registration as Resident Engineer
- Proven experience of at least 5 years as a Construction Project Manager, with specific experience in MRT architectural works.
- In-depth knowledge of MRT infrastructure projects, architectural design processes, and construction methodologies
- Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Proficient in project management software and tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Familiarity with local regulations, safety standards, and best practices in MRT construction.
