he Employee’s overall responsibilities will be to generate new sales, prepare details and comprehensive quotations in the support of the Sales Director / CEO and to support existing business for the supply of VEM electric solutions
Related to such overall responsibilities are specific duties which are not exclusive and may be modified or added to the interest of the business. In any event, the following duties are:
- Focus, open up & penetrate into new & untapped business segment territories & clientele based
- Provide professional and timely sales support to the Company’s clients
- Be responsible for all enquiries and proper completion of the proposals. These proposals must be in line with the VEM Guidelines and VEM Pricing Policies
- Follow up all quotations until order placement to the Company’s clients
- Take care of overseas customers and business partners
- Look after entire sales process from processing orders to shipping up to dispatch
- Provide to the management strategic feedback on:
- Market requirements,
- Changes in international/national standards, and c. Competitors’ activities and pricing philosophies
- Supervise payments and send payment reminders to the clients where required in order to ensure complete and prompt payment of all delivered orders within the defined payments terms
- Regularly develop your technical competency in electric motor products particularly those of the Company
Skills and Qualifications required:
- Aggressive and sales driven
- Good presentation skills Team player and multi tasker Initiator and start up altitude
- MS Office (word, Power Point, Excel, project)
- Basic knowledge of SAP R3 required. Training opportunity for the selected candidate is available.
- Education: diploma holder, Mechanical/Electrical or equivalent
- Sector: Industrial, Engineering Driven, Machines, Motors, Drives, Automation
- Geographical experience: South East Asia
- Nationality: must be Singaporean or PR
- Years of Experience: at least 2 years technical sales
- Language: English, CN, plus one Asian language would be a bonus (in order to handle concerns and feedbacks from CN & Asian language speaking associates and/or clients in regards with the payment matters)
