Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated and bioinformatics-trained Research Assistant/Research Associate to join our team! If you are passionate about contributing to ground-breaking research and have expertise in bioinformatics and related techniques, we want to hear from you.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform bioinformatics analyses related to RNA biology.
- Assist in data processing, storage, and management.
- Apply computational tools to analyze large-scale NGS datasets.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of research protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to publish results in scientific journals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Genetics, or a related field.
- Experience in RNA biology research or (epi)genomic data analysis is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, R) for data analysis.
- Familiarity with (epi)genomic databases and RNA sequencing data processing tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
