Element has an opportunity for Resident Surveyor for Singapore. We are looking for a Resident Surveyor to plan, set up and conduct survey for instrumentation monitoring of soil movement for site condition and existing structures, including survey data processing, report preparation and other related scope of works requirements.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead, manage and plan the site activities or work schedule (related to surveying profession only) to ensure the job progress runs smoothly, ensure and verify survey control points for statutory requirements.
- Be responsible to site in-house data processing and operation, good maintenance of surveying instrumentation e.g. Total Station, levelling instrument etc.
- To carry out site inspection from time to time as part of project quality control.
- To conduct training skill (related to surveying profession only) periodically in order to maintain and upgrade the surveying skill of team member.
- Assist production team to produce shop drawings, as built survey drawings and actual works - setting out if required.
- Setting up of Survey-Points and levels on site
- Plan and coordinate daily survey activity
- Lead and inspire high performance, to ensure all readings are taken on a timely, efficient and accurate basis.
- Attending site meeting and liaising positively with client on land surveying matters and make alternative solutions when necessary
Skills and Abilities
- Degree in Geomatics/Land Surveying, Certifcate in Surveying
- Have at least 3 -10 years of working experience
- A Technical Member(TechMem) in Land Surveying of the Singapore Institute of Surveyors and Values(SISV)
- Good communication skills and situational awareness
