They are currently seeking a Nurse Clinician who demonstrates empathy, collaboration, and strong problem-solving abilities.
As a Nurse Clinician, you will:
- Communicate policies and procedures effectively.
- Flag, update, and review existing policies and procedures.
- Build competency and capability among new and existing staff, addressing their skill gaps.
- Identify and train key competencies for Support Care Staff.
- Oversee standards and competencies of Staff Nurses.
- Collaborate with the Nurse Manager to develop training programs.
- Partner with AIC for relevant training opportunities.
- Work with external training institutions as needed.
- Coordinate with various departments for orientation programs.
- Collaborate with allied services to identify staff training needs.
- Conduct orientation programs for new staff across various grades.
- Update and amend training programs to ensure relevance.
- Promote and communicate the Vision, Mission, and Core Values of the organization.
- Ensure guidelines and work instructions are readily available and updated.
- Advocate for best practices in the profession and for resident wellbeing.
- Serve as an advocate for residents, nurses, and care staff.
- Ensure staff maintain clinical competence and safety in care delivery.
- Ensure compliance with MOH, HCSA, and clinical standards.
- Foster the clinical competency development of nurses and care staff.
- Document and track performance, attendance, and training hours for each nurse per MOH standards.
Requirements
- Post-registration degree in Nursing and an Advanced Diploma in Gerontology or equivalent
- Recognized Registered Nurse Certificate or an equivalent approved by the Singapore Nursing Board
- Minimum of six years of experience in a clinical setting, with a background in coaching
