Job Purpose:
Responsible for the layout, install, test, repair, and maintain electrical wiring, devices, and machinery, including Data Loggers, SML, and Wylie systems, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant operation of all electrical systems.
Responsibilities:
· Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical and electronic wiring, equipment, and systems
· Perform safety instrumentation installations and perform load testing to ensure optimal safety and performance
· Identify and resolve system malfunctions and component failures using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques. Analyze equipment breakdowns, pinpoint causes, and implement timely solutions.
· Conduct troubleshooting and repairs directly at job sites as needed to minimize downtime and support operational continuity
· Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components regularly to detect hazards, defects, and necessary adjustments, ensuring all systems comply with safety codes and regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
Higher NITEC Electrical Engineering / Diploma in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or other equivalent certificates
Experience:
· Relevant experience in electrician work or crane electrical systems
· Able to understand and read electrical circuit diagrammed
Competency:
· Good safety awareness
· Minimum 2 years’ experience in related industry
· Knowledge of electrical standards for installation and repairs
· Ability to understand blueprints and specification
