Job Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for all matters related to the E-house components of the FPSO project. Coordinate with engineering interdisciplinary teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of E-house systems.
- Be the first point of contact for any E-house related engineering issue.
- Lead a team of engineers, topside design contractor, and E-house module EPC contractors to conduct engineering design, support the integration, construction, and commissioning activities until project delivery.
- Review and approve design specifications for E-houses, ensuring they meet project requirements and industry standards. Collaborate with project stakeholders to address any design issues or modifications.
- Oversee the engineering design, construction and assembly of E-houses, ensuring adherence to project timelines, specification requirements, budget constraints, and quality standards. Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings to monitor work and resolve any issues.
- Attend FATs, and any oversea technical clarification meetings as required.
- Involve in technical discussions and technical review for electrical studies.
- Implement and monitor quality control processes to ensure the E-house systems are built to specification. Conduct design review, technical clarification meetings, and validation of E-house system design.
- Work with E-house contractor and topside design houses to maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation related to E-house engineering design.
- Prepare and present reports on project status, issues, and achievements.
- Identify and resolve any technical, or project management issues that arise during the E-house design, construction and commissioning phases. Implement corrective actions as needed.
Job Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is mandatory. Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, or any advanced certifications (e.g. PMP) or degrees are a plus.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in engineering coordination, with a focus on electrical systems and E-houses, preferably in FPSO or offshore projects.
- Strong knowledge of E-house design, construction, and commissioning. Proficiency in project management software and tools. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements. Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
