Operations Manager for an F&B Turkish Restaurant Job Scope:


To focus on overall strategy, high-level management, and optimizing operations for efficiency and profitability. Here are vital responsibilities and strategies to consider.


1. Operational Efficiency & Quality Control

- Oversee daily operations to ensure that food preparation, service, and sanitation meet the highest standards.

- Implement systems for efficient order management, food delivery, and workflow within the kitchen and dining areas.

- Regularly evaluate processes to reduce waste, enhance efficiency, and maintain quality, such as batch preparation for popular dishes.


2. Financial & Budget Management

- Monitor and analyze financial performance to increase revenue and reduce costs without compromising quality.

- Develop budgets, set financial goals, and oversee cost control, including managing labor, food costs, and overheads.

- Work closely with the finance team to prepare regular reports, track KPIs, and develop profit-maximizing strategies.


3. Staffing, Training, and Development

- Recruit, train, and retain skilled staff who understand Turkish cuisine and culture.

- Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and ensure continuous development and training.

- Foster a positive and motivating work environment that supports teamwork, efficiency, and dedication to customer satisfaction.


4. Supplier & Inventory Management

- Develop relationships with reliable suppliers, especially for specialty Turkish ingredients, to ensure quality and authenticity.

- Implement an inventory tracking system to manage supplies efficiently and reduce food wastage.

- Negotiate pricing with vendors and explore cost-effective options without sacrificing quality.


5. Customer Satisfaction & Brand Loyalty

- Design and implement customer service protocols that reflect Turkish hospitality, making sure each guest feels valued and welcomed.

- Regularly review customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and address complaints effectively.

- Create loyalty programs or exclusive dining experiences, such as themed nights or chef's specials, to increase repeat visits.


6. Marketing & Business Development

- Develop marketing strategies in collaboration with the marketing team, with a focus on social media, partnerships, and events.

- Plan and execute promotional activities that highlight unique aspects of Turkish cuisine and culture.

- Work with local food bloggers, influencers, and communities to increase visibility and attract a diverse customer base.


7. Compliance & Health Regulations

- Ensure the restaurant meets all local health and safety regulations, including regular inspections and staff training on food safety.

- Develop protocols to maintain a clean and safe environment for both employees and customers.


8. Expansion and Growth

- Develop long-term strategies for brand growth, including the possibility of opening new locations or diversifying the menu.

- Research market trends in Singapore’s F&B sector to stay competitive and identify potential expansion opportunities.

- Stay updated on new technologies in the F&B industry, such as POS systems, mobile ordering, or customer feedback platforms.


Skills Needed:
