Turkish restaurant supervisor Job scope:


To be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, customer service, and a pleasant dining experience with a Turkish cultural flair. Here are some key responsibilities and aspects to consider:


1. Staff Management & Training

- Oversee hiring, training, and scheduling of staff members to ensure smooth operation.

- Train staff on customer service, Turkish hospitality, and knowledge about Turkish cuisine to provide an authentic experience.


2. Customer Service & Experience

- Ensure that guests are welcomed warmly and have a seamless dining experience.

- Address and resolve customer concerns promptly and efficiently.

- Encourage and maintain a welcoming atmosphere that reflects Turkish culture and hospitality.


3. Menu Knowledge & Quality Control

- Familiarize yourself deeply with the menu and be able to recommend dishes to guests.

- Monitor food quality and presentation to maintain high standards.

- Ensure that Turkish culinary traditions are accurately represented, whether in kebabs, mezes, or traditional desserts.


4. Inventory & Supply Management

- Manage inventory, ensuring all Turkish-specific ingredients are consistently available and fresh.

- Build relationships with suppliers, particularly those who provide specialty items imported from Turkey.


5. Cultural Ambiance & Authenticity

- Oversee the maintenance of restaurant decor and ambiance, ensuring it reflects Turkish culture.

- Arrange for occasional cultural elements like Turkish music or decor to enhance the guest experience.


6. Financial Management

- Monitor daily sales and ensure that revenue goals are being met.

- Handle cash and credit transactions, track expenses, and manage budgets.

7. Marketing & Customer Engagement

- Help promote the restaurant by working on social media strategies, especially highlighting unique Turkish dishes, festivals, or cultural events.

- Engage with local communities and food bloggers to boost the restaurant’s visibility.


Skills Needed:

- Strong leadership and organizational skills.

- knowledgeable of Turkish cuisine and culture.

- Excellent communication skills, especially for interacting with a multicultural customer base.

- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure

- Able to commit and work during weekends and Public Holiday.
