** Entry Level Role
** Training will be provided.
This is a rotating 12-hour shift position responsible for overseeing day-to-day ground operations at the NOC (Network Operations Centre).
Responsibilities:
- Address escalations from internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor the 24/7 NOC phone line and emails.
- Conduct network monitoring and fault management.
- Communicate network outage notifications to customers.
- Assist with daily SOC (Security Operations Centre) and IT monitoring tasks.
- Coordinate operational activities.
- Analyze and troubleshoot Layer 1 (fibre optic) network issues.
- Manage and respond to facility and security alarms.
- Promptly respond to incidents/breaches within the Central Office.
- Perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned by supervisors.
Requirements:
- NITEC or Diploma in any field.
- Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts
