Job Description:
- Working directly with sales teams & other merchandisers to plan product collections
- Plan/control buying budget by brands/suppliers to achieve great merchandising mix and optimal profitability.
- Constantly source for new exciting brands/merchandise and negotiate for best margin/support/exclusivity.
- Source/develop products under house brands that are in line with store positioning.
- Provide product information and conduct product training to sales staff.
- Manage surplus and/or slow-moving merchandise
- Meeting suppliers
- Generate sales reports
- Handling production / supply problems as they arise
- Overseeing levels & distribution of stock
- Preparing stock promotions / price reductions as appropriate
- Process purchase order, new items creation & generate PO
Requirements:
• Minimum Diploma / Bachelor Degree. 2 years of relevant experience preferred (more experience candidate will be considered for Senior role)
• Commercial awareness
• Able to cope with pressure
• Excellent team work, communication & interpersonal skills
• Analytical & numerical proficiency
• Administrative, IT & organizational skills
• Able to work with minimal supervision
• Good Microsoft Excel skills
• Near Tai Seng MRT station
