Responsibilities:
· Create and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand the company’s market presence in the maritime industry.
· Identify and pursue new business opportunities by researching potential clients, attending industry events, and leveraging networking opportunities.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
· Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs, and use this information to adjust sales strategies.
· Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to potential clients, highlighting the benefits and unique selling points of our maritime solutions.
· Negotiate contracts and terms with clients to close deals while ensuring the company's interests are protected and profitability is maximized.
· Track and report on sales performance, including sales metrics, pipeline status, and client feedback, to management on a regular basis.
· Work closely with the marketing, operations, and customer service teams to ensure a seamless sales process and address any client issues promptly.
· Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in maritime technology and services to effectively communicate product benefits and advancements to clients.
· Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
Requirements:
· Min Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Maritime Studies, or a related field.
· Minimum of 3 years of sales experience, preferably within the maritime industry or related sectors.
· Strong sales and negotiation skills with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and persuasively.
· Familiarity with maritime operations, industry trends, and regulatory requirements.
