Key Responsibilities
- Planning, preparing and delivering lessons to students following the in-house curriculum
- Monitoring and marking of work assigned to students
- Promoting general holistic development of individual students
- Maintaining good order and discipline amongst students while safeguarding their physical and emotional well-being at all times
Ideal Candidate
- Subject matter expert in Science (a must)
- Has the ability to make young learners smile or laugh at the start and end of each lesson
- Able to create a learning environment which encourages creativity, critical thinking and a love for learning
- NIE-trained teacher
- At least 3 years of teaching experience in the Singapore primary school system
- Strong knowledge and familiarity with the current MOE syllabus
- Loves working with young learners and cares for them
- Committed to developing the academic and emotional fitness of their charges
- Is serious and yet possesses a sense of humour
