If you are looking for an opportunity as an Accountant, Emerson has an excellent role for you! This role will focus on cost accounting and will be performing activities related to standard cost updates, variance analysis and month-end closing activities.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
· Responsible for the key cost accounting activities including standard cost updates, variance analysis and month-end closing activities.
· Prepare monthly journals and balance sheet schedules.
· Prepare monthly management reports.
· Participate in the quarterly business review and annual budget preparation.
· Participate in annual cost roll process.
· Review and analyse quarterly Excess & Obsolescence inventory and reserve and warranty expense and reserve.
· Assist with cycle count and annual physical inventory count.
· Assist in yearly US GAAP, SOX and statutory audits.
· Key contact for IT enterprise, working with IT enterprise team on their monthly expenditure reporting.
· Support the yearly business insurance renewal process.
· Support and undertake ad-hoc assignment and projects as assigned.

For This Role, You Will Need:
· At least 3 years working experience with an MNC preferably in a manufacturing environment.
· Good interpersonal skills, meticulous and able to handle tight deadlines.
· Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
· Degree in accounting, ACCA or equivalent accounting certificate.
· Experience in Oracle preferred.
