KidSTART@KKH Antenatal Programme, provides support services to pregnant mothers from vulnerable families. The programme aims to recruit families from early pregnancy, to optimize the developmental potential of their children through an integrated health and social approach.
The recruitment officer’s role is to support with outreach efforts to engage and recruit these new families into the programme.
Being the main contact person, you will assist with programme enquiries, facilitate in explanation about the programme and route potential patients to Social Work Assistants for enrolment. You will also ensure that patient information collated is accurate and adheres to PDPA and hospital guidelines.
The recruitment officer, as part of the programme administrative team, identifies, engages new patients, and supports appointment scheduling for families. The role includes:
- Supporting daily administration and operations of the frontline team
- Identifying and engaging patients at clinic premises
- Contacting patients via phone calls
- Supporting enrollment through appointment scheduling and rescheduling patient appointments with the Social Work Assistants
The recruitment officer will have the opportunity to attend in-service teaching sessions to maintain competency, improve understanding of programme and for purpose of career and self-development.
The recruitment officer will be required to perform any other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Job Requirement:
- Diploma with at least 2 years relevant experience in service or healthcare setting OR
- GCE N/O/A level or NITEC in Healthcare with at least 6 - 10 years relevant experience in service or healthcare
- Pleasant and friendly disposition with service-oriented mindset and proactive to engage patients.
- Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to multi-task and work in fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in computer skills and MS office
