We are looking for motivated individual to perform basic research in the field of transplantation and cell therapy in the Paediatric Bone Marrow Transplant & Cell Therapy Centre.
Job Description:
- Perform basic research in transplantation and cell therapy; report findings to peer-review journals.
- Develop Research Methodology for ressearch projects, revise techniques and troubleshooting guidance.
- Ensuring SOP are followed and participate in lab protocol maintenance.
- Effective communication of research results to director and lab members.
- Participate in grant writing/budgeting for relevant research sections.
- Preparation of presentations and reports.
- Ensure smooth running of the laboratory and maintenance of lab equipment, inventory and supplies.
- Provide staff training to new hires.
- Assist team members, technicians, students in their experiments if needed.
- Contact person to liaise with support department for the research.
- Participates in centre, ACP-ralted activities and hospital initiatives as when required.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Job requirement:
- PhD in Life Sciences with specific experience in transplant biology, immunology or gene therapy.
- Theoretical and practical knowledge of technology platforms in the areas of molecular and cell biology.
- Min 2 years post-doc experience.
- Experience in manuscript writing as first author.
- Good Team player.
- Creative and collaborative.
