We are looking for a results-driven and strategic Business Director to lead our Enzyme Products division within the animal feed industry. This role will focus on developing and executing growth strategies, expanding market presence, and establishing strong customer relationships. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in enzyme applications in animal nutrition and a keen understanding of the feed industry landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the business strategy for enzyme products targeted at the feed industry, with an emphasis on growth, market share expansion, and competitive positioning.
- Market Development: Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for enzyme products in animal nutrition, focusing on efficiency, cost reduction, and sustainability.
- Business Development: Cultivate and strengthen relationships with key feed industry stakeholders, including feed mills, producers, and distributors; drive strategic partnerships and identify growth opportunities.
- Product Management: Collaborate with R&D and Product teams to ensure enzyme products meet industry standards, customer needs, and regulatory requirements.
- Sales & Revenue Growth: Set and achieve ambitious sales targets, working closely with Sales and Marketing to drive customer engagement and product adoption in the feed market.
- Customer Engagement: Stay attuned to the evolving needs of customers in the animal feed industry; serve as a bridge between customers and R&D for feedback on product performance and innovation needs.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team dedicated to achieving business goals in a collaborative environment.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Animal Science, Nutrition, Biotechnology, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in agribusiness, animal nutrition, or feed industry, with a focus on enzyme or biotech products.
- Proven track record in business development, strategic planning, and leadership in the feed or biotech industry.
- In-depth understanding of enzyme applications in feed, nutritional requirements, and feed industry regulations.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to travel as needed.
