Responsibilities and duties:
- To conduct, interact and engage students with the programme's material through stimulating and fun STEM activities.
- Maintain a conducive learning environment in class by demonstrating good class management.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to the student
- Ensure students' safety and cleanliness in the classroom at all times.
- Forge parents' engagement with the priority set on children’s skills and behaviour development.
- Simple administrative duty.
- Explaining concepts in an engaging manner.
- Must be able to work on weekends
Skill and Qualification
- Must love working with children and have a passion for guidance
- Experience in teaching/coaching especially with children - an advantage
- Familiar with software programming tools for children, such as WEDO, Scratch, Spike Prime, Spike Essential, EV3 and so on
- Must have strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Keen to learn with a positive attitude, determined and patience
- At least 6 months commitment
- Prior experience with coaching/participating in competitions such as First Lego League(FLL), National Robotics Competition(NRC) etc a plus
