Introduction

Are you excited to shape, drive and manage sales? Are you looking for an opportunity to define regional strategy to deliver business growth and profitability?

Then we are looking for you. We are looking for a new Head of Sales to join our team, reporting directly to the CEO Asia Pacific. You will be responsible for growing our business in Beer, Wine and Spirits logistics in Asia.

The role can be based in any Asia location preferably Singapore.


What will you do?

  • Define the regional sales strategy to cascade and monitor delivery of sales objectives in line with business strategy, financial objectives, Global guidelines and policies
  • Lead, oversee and control highly strategic activities and initiatives with significant impact on overall results and very high business risk potential
  • Communicate market leadership position and vision/strategy aspiration to customers and internal stakeholders
  • Drive market acquisition and retention strategies to maximize sales growth in the region and optimize profits
  • In charge of competition analysis and regular discussions/evaluation with trade teams and regional/global procurement team to improve our hit ratio and market share growth/segment penetration
  • Drive customer retention, business growth and profitability by supporting customer strategies, contract negotiations and supply chain management strategy
  • Be a regional sponsor and entry point of contact for all Corporate/Global accounts development and management activities, including tender management, performance, etc.
  • Approve pricing, product mix, and brand portfolio policies for the function regionally
  • Define improvement areas based on pipeline reporting in collaboration with sales effectiveness
  • Establish appropriate processes and infrastructure to support growth, sales performance and optimize resource utilization
  • You will help local sales teams to attain sales effectiveness through close collaboration with internal stakeholders (including Country Managers and Sales Managers), enforcing and strengthening the use of ongoing evaluations and an optimal use of our sales system Sales Force
  • Lead, direct, coach and develop performance of the regional sales team

What do we expect from you?

  • Proven success in driving strategic sales planning, growth initiatives within a fast-paced freight forwarding industry
  • Experience in Beer, Wine & Spirits logistics is essential
  • Tertiary education in business management or relevant specializations
  • Possess strong technical and specialized skills in the logistics industry
  • Interact with different people easily, motivating and developing them to excel in their sales activities
  • Flexible to travel for business
