MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- You will deliver exceptional results to clients on a broad range of complex transactions
- Undertaking due diligence of fund documentation
- Drafting and negotiating facilities agreements
- Drafting and negotiating security documents
- Overseeing financing closings
- Act as a primary point of contact for clients, opposing counsels and other transactional legal teams
- Assisting clients with ongoing deal administration
- Providing direct assistance to senior lawyers on matters arising in the course of day-to-day matters and overseeing junior lawyers in the team
ABOUT YOU:
We do not set upper or lower limits of PQE for any of our vacancies. We have however given an indicative PQE as an approximate guide for applicants. Candidates who have between 3 to 5 years’ PQE on the UK scale are likely to have the right level of knowledge and have gained the right level of experience needed to be able to undertake this role.
- England and Wales qualification
- Strong experience in multi-jurisdictional banking and finance transactions
- Experience in the Asian Markets and working across different jurisdictions and/or with other emerging markets
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken. Any other language skills will be a plus.
- A highly initiative and innovative team player with strong client management and relationship skills
- Commercially astute and stays current on key legal and business news
- Provides a professional, quality service in a timely manner, and responds effectively to requests from internal and external clients
- Builds and develops own network of internal and external contacts
- Awareness of business development initiatives in the department and identifies ways to contribute
