We are seeking a skilled Network Security Engineer to join our team in Singapore. In this role, you will be responsible for providing maintenance support for security systems and tools, conducting security assessments, performing system upgrades, and collaborating with clients to ensure compliance with security standards and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Provide maintenance support for security systems and tools, including firewalls and other security technologies, in accordance with maintenance contract requirements.
- Conduct security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and provide recommendations for remediation.
- Perform system upgrades, patches, and backups to ensure security systems are up-to-date and running efficiently.
- Respond to security incidents, troubleshoot issues, and work closely with clients to resolve incidents in a timely manner.
- Implement security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to integrate security requirements into new projects and systems.
- Provide internal training and support to the team to facilitate knowledge sharing.
- Participate in on-call standby rotation to provide 24/7 support for incidents.
- Attend regular operations review meetings to discuss operational issues and review tickets.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in network security, preferably in a maintenance support role.
- Strong technical knowledge of networking and operating systems, with some experience in scripting languages and security tools.
- CCNA technical certification is preferred.
- In-depth understanding of network routing and switching technologies and protocols.
- Hands-on experience with firewall and VPN technologies, including Cisco ASA Firewall and VPN, Cisco ACS/ISE, Cisco ESA/SMA, Cisco WSA, Palo Alto firewalls, Checkpoint, Juniper, and Fortinet firewalls.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Availability to work extended hours and participate in on-call standby rotation.
