Responsibilities:
- Develop & Lead Marketing Strategy: Define and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with the company's long-term growth goals. Spearhead initiatives that fuel customer acquisition, brand awareness, and revenue growth
- Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of marketing professionals. Create an environment that encourages innovation, performance excellence, and professional development. Set clear objectives for each team member and ensure cross-functional collaboration within the department
- Brand Management & Storytelling: Act as the company's chief storyteller, shaping and maintaining a consistent and compelling brand narrative across all touchpoints. Lead brand initiatives to solidify the company's market position and create meaningful engagement with the target audience
- Data-Driven Insights & Optimisation: Leverage data analytics to continuously improve marketing strategies, campaigns, and performance. Ensure that marketing activities deliver measurable results, and adjust tactics as needed to maximize efficiency and effectiveness
- Marketing Budget Ownership: Take full ownership of the marketing budget. Monitor and optimise spend to achieve the desired Investor Acquisition Cost (IAC) and payback period goals. Demonstrate a keen focus on maximising ROI on every marketing dollar invested
- Collaborative Partnerships: Cultivate and manage strong relationships with key external partners, agencies, and vendors. Ensure that all collaborations align with the company's strategic marketing objectives and deliver high-quality outcomes
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with the product and customer facing teams to ensure marketing efforts are well-integrated with broader business initiatives. Ensure the marketing strategy supports product launches, customer retention efforts, and revenue growth
Requirements
- A proven track record of successfully leading marketing efforts to drive growth
- Demonstrated experience in building and executing data-driven marketing strategies through both paid as well as $0 marketing efforts
- Strong leadership skills with a history of managing and growing marketing teams
- Expertise in brand management, customer acquisition, and retention strategies
- Understanding of online marketing levers and core metrics
- Ability to translate business goals into actionable marketing objectives
