DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Review with team on Connector Housing design during design review as per DFM and FMEA.
- Perform Mold Design and conduct mold design review meeting based on our mold design guidelines/ check list and Mold Design FMEA.
- Develop mold as per development schedule to support new product launch and ramp.
- Work with Tool room on fabrication follow up and debug issues.
- Work closely with Debug and Process Engineer on FOT and Qualification of Molds. Coordinate with outside vendors for subcontracted molds for quotation, specification, review, follow up and other technical issues.
- Support Molding in terms of mold improvements and pre-production runs File and maintain all documents for mold design and development.
- Support Department focal points / Goals / Projects as required.
