School Operations Executive

Location: Tanjong Katong Secondary School, 150 Haig Road, Singapore 438796
Contract Period: 1 Dec 2024 – 30 Nov 2025, with an option to extend until 30 Nov 2026

Working Hours

  • Mondays to Thursdays: 8:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. (inclusive of 1-hour lunch break)
  • Fridays: 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. (inclusive of 1-hour lunch break)
  • May occasionally be required to work on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Daily Operations Management
  • Assist the Operations Manager in overseeing daily operational activities on-site.
  • Manage and allocate manpower resources as needed for effective operation support.
  1. Facilities Maintenance and Minor Repairs
  • Perform minor repair work to ensure the school is safe and its buildings are well-maintained.
  • Identify faults and areas requiring maintenance and ensure prompt rectification.
  1. Contractor Supervision
  • Accompany, monitor, and supervise external contractors working on school premises for repairs or maintenance to ensure compliance with school standards and safety.
  1. Security and Safety Support
  • Provide security control at the school foyer during events and assist with event management duties.
  • Support school safety and ensure proper maintenance standards across school premises.
  1. Administrative and Operational Support
  • Collaborate with the Operations Manager, Assistant Managers, and School Leaders to support all school operations and administrative tasks as required.


Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

Education:

  • A polytechnic diploma, preferably in Facilities Management or a related discipline, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.Candidates without a diploma but with extensive relevant experience will also be considered.

Skills:

  • Ability to multitask, work independently in a fast-paced environment, and maintain meticulous attention to detail.
  • Hands-on skills for minor repairs and proactive problem-solving in building maintenance.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members, contractors, and school staff.
  • A team-oriented attitude with the ability to function well within a collaborative environment.
